Today's trip was from Beaver Creek to Whitehorse - that was the "Kluane Drive-By". At the Haines Junction Airport - we hopped on a Cessna 206 supplied by the great folks at Kluane Glacier Air Tours -and did a "Kluane Fly-Over".
Boom - blew my mind twice today.
As soon as you leave Beaver Creek - it is fantastic - so very very pretty. Ranges of mountains on both sides - and ranges of mountains behind those mountains on the Kluane side (which is to our south as we go south-east).
I am going to have to find another word - but WOW is the best I have right now. It was just amazing driving. Fun roads - nothing very sporting except for a place or to - but nice - and the rivers and the mountains were breath taking.
Then - to top it off - at Haines Junction - we had arranged for a fly over with Kluane Glacier Air Tours. Let me let the pictures tell the story.
