On 37 - it is up and down - we started at 800m - went up to 1200m - back down to around 450m - and so on. Following river valleys, and then take the pass between the various rivers - it was so very pretty. Lots of photos I did not get - either because no place to pull over - or I missed the place. Oh well. Also - I suspect that the low ceiling caused us to miss a bunch - but gosh - what we saw was so petty. Some really pretty rivers - fast flowing and wide. Creeks crossing under the road (bridges, culverts). We saw 4 separate black bears - which was cool - did not try to stop for a photo - I think on the bike that is a good call.
Then - we hit the 37A Glacier Highway section to Stewart at Meziadin Junction. Am I ever glad Glenn Holdbrook told me about this - I knew nothing about this until he mentioned it. This is for sure one of the prettiest roads I have ever been on. You start at Meziadin Junction at 350m - and over the next 28 km - you follow the Big Bear River to sea level. Remember the rule - roads that follow rivers are always pretty? Well, roads that follow mountain rivers through a canyon over a large elevation change with GLACIERS all over the place - My Heavens, Goodness Gracious Me! (My friend Barbara said she was sharing some of these with her students - thus the choice of family friendly expletives)

Note sure why this is sideways. Anybody know how to fix it?
